Do I need a Scrub Coat when using Sto Bonding and Anti-Corrosion Agent as a bonding agent?

Typically, no, Sto Bonding and Anti-Corrosion Agent is applied by brush, roller or spray to the prepared surface in one coat. After the coating is applied, the mortar overlay or repair mortar can be applied immediately or within a 24 hour time frame. However, if Sto Bonding and Anti-Corrosion Agent is allowed to dry and, for an extremely low slump, low moisture repair mortars or concrete, a scrub coat will need to be applied. Refer to Technical Data Sheet CR 246 Sto Bonding and Anti-Corrosion Agent for further information on this product.
