Do I need a Schengen Visa for Portugal?
Nearly all non-EU nationalities except Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Korea and Japan will need a visa for Portugal. If you are from one of the following countries you need to apply at the Portuguese embassy in person: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Bahrain, Burundi, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Korea (north), Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Oman, Palestine, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Rwada, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, Taiwan. Nationals from the following countries do not need a visa to enter the Schengen area: EU Countries; Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (Blue Passports Only), Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Korea (Rep Of), Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Sing
