In most cases you will not need an extra Relay Part #775 for Dome Light Supervision, double check the Wire Color Code Chart from our Website to make sure you know the Dome Light wire Color and Polarity type for the Vehicle you have. If the Vehicle has a (+) Positive Dome Light wire and your RS-1100/RS-1200E DOES NOT have a Dipswitch (the Dipswitch is located between the 16-Pin Harness and the Ignition 1 wire Spade Terminal on the PC Board of the RS-1100/RS-1200E) the Dipswitch is used to select between a (+) Positive and (-) Negative Parking Light Output. If the unit does have a dipswitch, set this Dipswitch to the “IN” Position for a (+) Positive Dome Light Output and connect the PURPLE Dome Light Output wire to the (+) Positive Dome Light wire in the Vehicle. If the Unit DOES NOT have a Dipswitch, then the PURPLE Dome Light Output wire on this unit is a (-) Negative and you will need an extra Part #775 Relay to connect the PURPLE Dome Light Output wire to the (+) Positive Dome Light
