Do I need a referral to see a MEDGroup physician?
In most instances, you will not need a referral to see a MEDGroup physician. Depending on your health insurance coverage, you may need a referral from your Primary Care Physician (PCP) prior to being seen by a MEDGroup physician. It is important that, if a referral is required, you obtain it from your PCP prior to receiving treatment at MEDGroup. Please contact your insurance company to find out if you need a referral. If a referral is required, your PCP will then need to be notified so they can provide the appropriate paperwork to your insurance company.
