Do I need a referral to be seen at MedVet?
We believe strongly in a team approach to your pet’s health. While referrals are not always necessary, you should discuss your interest in coming to MedVet with your primary veterinarian. Emergency situations do not always allow time for discussion with your primary veterinarian. We recommend coming in immediately if you feel your pet needs to be seen. Our emergency service can direct you to the appropriate specialty department or refer you back to your primary veterinarian once the immediate needs are addressed.
