Do I Need a RAM Upgrade for My Portege M700 Tablet PC?

0

Portege M700 tablet PCs were originally supplied with 2 GB of RAM. The M700 has two slots for RAM modules, and typically both slots are occupied by a 1-GB module for a total of 2 GB. The maximum RAM capacity of the M700 is 4 GB, consisting of two 2-GB modules, which would replace any existing RAM. We recommend a minimum of 2 GB of RAM for M700s running Windows 7. Thus for most users the currently installed RAM will be adequate. Increasing RAM to 3 or 4 GB by purchasing one or two 2-GB modules may benefit some users, for example, those who edit graphics or video. When you purchase RAM modules from the Richards Computer online store, they will be delivered to CCDS, and we will install them for you in the Technology Office. Installation is included in the purchase price of $32 per module. Not sure how much RAM is installed in your computer? See above.
