Do i need a phone line to get DSL internet?
You need a phone line in order to get DSL. You do not necessarily have to have a working phone, you just need access to your telephone company. If you live in the US, you do have a provider near you, they just might not have DSL available. If you can get DSL, ditch satellite internet. A telephone company might charge you extra if you do not have a phone with them.
