Yes, 365 days a year. Between 5/1 and 11/1 you can ONLY pick up your Main Mt. Whitney Trail permit at the Eastern Sierra InterAgency Visitors Center, permits for all other trails are issued at any Inyo National Forest Ranger Station and the Eastern Sierra InterAgency Visitors Center.
