Do I need a multi-channel sound card to participate in a For-The-people chat room?
It is possible to use Chatterbox without a multi-channel sound card. However if you are using a software speech synthesizer which uses your sound card such as elloquence, you will not be able to use your screen reader while you are in a chat room. Most modern sound cards used today are multi-channel sound cards. I filled out the registration form and received confirmation that I was approved for membership. However when I attempted to log in with my userid and password, I am told that my userid or password is invalid. Why?
