Do I need a Masters degree before being eligible to do an MPhil/PhD?
Possessing a Masters degree is highly desirable, though not essential, and in exceptional cases candidates without Masters degrees may be admitted, where they have other suitable research experience. In any case, we expect any successful application to include a sufficiently strong and convincing proposal, and those holding a Masters degree are typically well prepared to provide one.
