Do I need a first degree to enter a Counselling Studies programme at the University of Edinburgh?

0

All Counselling Studies programmes are offered at postgraduate level, with the exception of some CPD courses. This means that, as a general rule, you should have a first degree, awarded by a Higher Education Institution, in order to gain entry to a Counselling Studies programme. This degree does not have to relate to counselling, psychology or health. As Counselling Studies is committed to creating equality of access to our programmes, we will consider applications from candidates who can provide sufficient evidence of their potential to undertake academic study at postgraduate level. See Entrance Requirements.
