Do I need a doctor’s referral to be seen by a Physio-Logic therapist?

0

Doctor’s referrals are not essential as physiotherapists are ‘Regulated Health Professionals’ and are able to accept self –referrals. However, Physio-Logic encourages open communication with their client’s treating physician. In addition, some extended health policies will not fund physiotherapy treatment unless there is a doctor’s referral so be sure to check your policy requirements if you are planning on accessing your extended health plan for funding.
