16. No, it is not required to obtain a note or prescription when having a paternity test. Most of our clients order and schedule paternity testing directly from their Paternity Labs parentage testing specialist. Many of our clients are attorneys and physicians. If you are obtaining a legal paternity test for a court proceeding and using an attorney’s services you may deal with us direct or have your attorney contact us. If you want us to communicate with relatives, doctors or attorneys you must authorize us to do so.
