Do I need a crossover cable to connect a BT Home Hub 2 to an ethernet switch?

I dont think so, at least, not if the port on the rear of the home hub is a standard ethernet port. If it isn’t, then you should still be ok because the cables provided with the hub must have ethernet on one end for PC connection. Sorry I can’t be of more help but I use my own D-Link 2740B router rather than the home hub (and I work for BT and got that free!) Personally I don’t rate the home hub, but it’s much better than the other routers you get from other ISPs but still doesn’t compare to custom ones (note I have nothing to do with the home hub part of BT so I tell it straight).
