Yes you will be required to obtain a building permit prior to the commencement of the construction of your pool. Your local municipal office will provide the proper application form for this permit. A site plan showing the location, the size, the pool equipment used, specific dimensions from lot lines, the house, will need to be indicated on your site plan. You must also indicate if the pool equipment will be enclosed or not. A sketch for your fencing showing all dimensions and the type of material such as wood, metal, chain link or other will need to be included with your application. When choosing your fencing please make sure all gates are self closing. The process takes on average two weeks. Pleaseclick here for exact details.
