Sounds like you bought an internal drive and want to replace your 160 gb drive with it. Bottom line is this, you need to take it to an experienced tech and have him clone the drive for you. There is a lot involved to do what you want to do – need special software and connectors… most of all experience. A good tech will have the tools to do it properly. I would suggest that you find a local small computer repair shop and not use one of those large shops that sell everything, like Best Buy. If you want to reuse the 160Gb drive, you will need an external 2.5″ USB enclosure to put it in. Hope this helps.
