No, I have no idea what that may have been about, how much the bricks are worth nowdays, how many bricks there were, where the money went or anything. But if anyone else knows, please write in! I’m from Liberal, KS originally, (60 miles from DC) but my wife is from Dodge City. In fact my father-in-law was part of the urban renewal project which resulted in tearing up of the old front street. One day I did ask my father-in-law about the bricks which were destroyed. His comment is that to his best understanding they simply were stockpiled with the other material at a local dump. This whole process took place in the early 1970’s.
