DO I INCLUDE IN-KIND STAFF NOT FUNDED DIRECTLY WITH LAV FUNDS IN RESPONSE TO ITEM 9 (STAFF INFORMATION)?

No. Only report information on staff paid with LAV Program funds. MY LAV GRANT PAYS HALF THE SALARY OF AN ATTORNEY WHO PROVIDES CASE SUPERVISION FOR OTHER ATTORNEYS WHO ARE REPRESENTING VICTIMS/SURVIVORS. CAN I COUNT ALL OF THE CASES (SERVICES, ISSUES, OUTCOMES, ETC.) WORKED ON BY THE ATTORNEYS SHE SUPERVISED DURING THE CURRENT REPORTING PERIOD? You may only count grant-funded activities. Therefore, if this supervising attorney is substantially involved in the cases (for example, as co-counsel), then services, issues addressed and outcomes for those cases should be reported. However, if the attorney is doing case review meetings on a weekly or monthly basis with the attorneys but is not directly involved in the cases, you would not report activity in those cases. You would report this attorney’s time in response to item #9 (staff information) on grant-funded staff, and you could discuss the nature of this attorney’s involvement in responses to Questions 31 (goals and objectives) and 35
