Actually, you could use blank paper as long as you sketch at a proportional scale. In order to achieve the best EZfloorplan image, you are better off using graph paper. You can get graph paper from any office supply store and it is best if you purchase 10×10 Cross Section Pads (10 squares/inch). For your convenience, we provide a printable EZfloorplan graph paper template with an easy to follow instruction sheet, which includes basic symbols to identify major appliances.
