Do I have to use oDesk software to work?
Nope. Your actual work will be done with whatever tools you and your buyer agree on, and you’ll handle communication methods the same way. The oDesk Team application logs time and enables collaboration, and you’ll need that for hourly work to qualify for the “hour worked is an hour paid” guarantee. You’ll also find a number of tools that, if you and your buyer want to use them, will make collaborating across long distances a breeze.
