Do I have to submit post-date cheques?
You do not HAVE to submit post-dated cheques. However, we recommend (and prefer) that you do. This helps avoid late rent payments on the tenant’s behalf, and allows our accountant to process all outstanding rents in much more efficient manner. If you do not submit a series of post-dated cheques, you will still be responsible for making sure that your rent is paid by the first of every month, without exception.
