Yes! XLink/Win is distributed as trial software so that you can evaluate it for free for 30 days to see if it meets your needs. If you want to keep it, you must register to continue using the program. The trial version has a few limitations which should not prevent you from evaluating all of the functions. It will never erase your data or prevent you from restoring a backup even if you do not register. As an additional encouragement to register, there are some extras available only to registered users on the registered users web page.
