Internet trading is not exempt from tax. Yes, you should register as self-employed, any pay any tax due to HMRC. All UK citizens have an annual tax-free personal allowance of £6475 before tax becomes due. You do not say, however, if you have any other income, because tax is payable on all income, not just some aspects of it.
