Do I have to pay child support if rights are terminated?
Once you give yp your rights to the child you still pay, unless the courts decide different. She cannot ask for double child support unless she takes you to court in the county that your divorce was finalized in. So if you got divorced in Florida…she has to go to court in Florida. Courts don’t double payments for no reason unless you can afford it OR you are behind in payments.
