If you are an individual buyer (non 01 FFL holder) then you must undergo a background check and satisfy all regulatory requirements in your locality for interstate/intrastate firearm transfers. Warning! Buyer Beware – If you fail to pass the required background check or other requirements to lawfully complete the transfer of the gun to you, you will forfeit the gun. This means you will not get a refund, and you do not get to keep the gun. This is an absolute rule and federal law. The FFL retailer will make no exceptions. If you try to get someone else to receive the transfer in your place, this is against the law and the FFL retailer must notify federal authorities. If you are not 100% sure that you can pass the background check and other requirements, please do you use GunsExpress to purchase guns.
