Do I have to paint HardiPlank™ siding?
HP Exteriors’ estimate always includes painting for standard HardiPlank siding (which comes pre-primed from the factory). In our experience, a quality paint job on primed HardiPlank siding lasts 7-9 years in Georgia. Beware of anyone who says their paint job will last a lifetime. It is unrealistic to promise that a single, exterior paint job will last a lifetime in Georgia’s climate; regardless of how good the paint or painter may be.
