No! SLACI can be deployed as an administrator tool to manage all device port alignment remotely. The installation computer can be independent of the switch system, or a computer managed on the switch infrastructure so all workstation consoles have operating access to SLACi. How do I operate SLACi from user workstations? Install SLACi on any computer connected to the switch. Use the embedded hot-key or OSD functions to select SLACi management computer. Use the SLACi interface to align computer and workstation locations or execute remote management infrastructure administration. Also see My KVM Networks.
