Do I have to include all the conditions of the Global Objective selected by my Programme Director in the Objective Setting meeting for each placement?

No – the conditions selected by your Programme Director as part of your Global Objective are to be completed over the whole year of training. At the beginning of a placement, you should meet with your Assigned Educational Supervisor to discuss which particular condition within the Global Objective can be achieved in whole or part, during the current placement. The discussion should be informed by what is realistically available in the current placement and you should come to the meeting having talked to your clinical supervisor about the placement opportunities. Then you and your Assigned Educational Supervisor will be able to select Topics from the selection made by the Programme Director for your current placement. Topics from other specialties and stages are also available to select from. This is done on your ‘Learning Agreement’ page at the Objective Setting stage, click on the ‘Topics Chooser’ link at the top of this page and a smaller pop-up window will then appear. Select the dr
