The XBox has no modem, only an Ethernet jack, so your connectivity options begin there. You’ll need to be able to connect to the Internet over Ethernet somehow – either by accessing another PC that shares its Internet connection, or by accessing some kind of router (cable, DSL, dial-up, whatever).
