Do i have to go to the doctors office to get a lipid profile test?
Yes. Lipid profile tests require a blood draw and lab work. If you are insured, this could easily be covered by going through your primary care physician. Otherwise, you can go to a lab/diagnostic center and they can do it there as well (Quest diagnostics is an example if you live in America). If you aren’t insured, however, I’ve heard the test cost as much as $300.
