Do i have to go to school to be a bartender or casino host/dealer?
If you’re in the USA, then you need to find a dealer school to be a croupier, or teach yourself the games then fake your way through an audition. I don’t know so much about bartending, but if you want to be a “flair” cocktail maker/mixologist then batender school is pretty much essential these days I think. In the UK, the situation is different for dealers – they are usually recruited as trainees, and trained in-house by the casinos. Keep an eye out for small adverts in the back of local newspapers (until recently, a casino’s job adverts had to be under a certain size).
