Specialized (spatial) map servers are not required in order to use JViews Maps. Although JViews Maps works with map data in geo-databases, such as Oracle Spatial or ESRI ArcSDE, applications can also be designed with local hard-disk drive data. JViews Maps offers the freedom to custom build your applications.
