No, but you probably will want to customise. Preloaded content does not include any tests that are available to students, for example. In addition, there are many content areas in a course that are empty until you choose to fill them with content (or disable the buttons). Preloaded content represents a huge head start in creating your course. You can customise that content as much as you like, or add new content, to make the course fit your exact curriculum.
