Do I have to convert all my PDFs, Powerpoint files, etc.?
It’s possible to upload any file type to your resource library in the workBench. You can share any file type with other members of your groups by simply dragging the file(s) over the group or member’s name in the Groups and Members panel. If the file can’t be opened in your browser, for example, a word-processing file, it can be downloaded and opened by the recipient on his/her computer with the appropriate application. Or, you can create a link in an online project to any file type. Anyone who clicks on the link will get the option of trying to open the file in the browser or download it. So, it is possible to share any file type or projects internally within your workBench group or more expansively online. The workBench can create traditional websites, but web authoring does not have to be just websites.
