Do I have to check the cylinder compression before using Practex?
It is a must! Checking the cylinder compression before treatment is absolutely necessary so that you can be totally convinced of the effectiveness of Practex. Furthermore, by checking the cylinder compression you will find out if your engine needs to be treated. N.B. If you get a compression reading lower than 50% of what the engine’s manufacturer says it should be, then even Practex will not be able to help you.
