Do I have to be the Alternate Group Representative to attend Al-Anon Information Services (AIS) meetings?
No. Al-Anon Information Services (AIS) meetings are open to any Al-Anon member who wishes to attend. We encourage members to attend a meeting. You may find some area of interest in which you may want to volunteer your time. Public Outreach is an important part of the Al-Anon and Alateen programs. Without it, people who are suffering from the effects of someone else’s drinking may not find the help that Al-Anon and Alateen have to offer.
