No, one of the benefits of live distance learning is that both the instructor and the students can be most anywhere that a computer with sufficient Internet acces is avaiable. While many UNH iLinc courses have been taught from the Distance iLinc classroom in MUB room 14, faculty have also taught from home, from their offices, and even while out of town travelling.
