Do I have the right to demand a copy or transcript of a taped telephone conversation?

You would be better off, getting all calls to your phone taped and telling callers that this is done at the outset of a conversation, rather than rely on the tape transcript being accurate if they are doing it for “their” benefit, you may ask, but their is no right in law to receive a copy and remember this is being done for their benefit, and so many things can be done that can alter the tape in question, before they hand it over, anyway, better get a clear tape of you, telling them, that they are harrassing you over a disputed debt that has been dealt with.. and going on from there, to insist that they stop calling you, or for use as evidence, of dates and times, and names, of this nuisance behaviour, ..for use if you ever go to court, or get black listed for credit by them or any one else. If the worst happens and you have proof, then a police action can be started for harrassment.
