Do i have parental rights and responsibilities?

The only acceptable dna proof you can have is the kind that comes from a court-ordered dna paternity test. If the court has not said you are the daddy, you are not the daddy and have no legal rights. That being said, you can go to court to ask for a paternity test and for visitation, but you may not get it. In some locations (Utah, for instances), if you do not declare your expected paternity by signing a registry on or before the birth of the child, you may lose all your rights to the child. I suggest you get a lawyer and discuss with him/her what options you have in your particular jurisdiction. And I would do this fairly quickly. Because if you are the legal daddy, the woman may be able to come after you for child support any time in the next 18 years (even if you have no rights at all) and if you are proven to be the daddy, you will be paying 18 years worth of child support plus interest, even if you have never seen that kid. So get a lawyer now.
