Do i have heart problems or am i unfit?
Hi! If you had this when you were a child you probably would not give it a second thought. I remember running until I couldn’t breathe and terrible chest pains that was about thirty years, and i’m still here! As soon as we get older we tend to panic about things. If it went away you are probably fine, just take things alot more gradually. When I exercise I always get an increased heart rate its what I do it for : to increase and strengthen the heart muscle. The length of time it takes for your heart beat to settle down after exercise is the measure of how fit you are. I think it might be better if you increased your walking before you started running. If you are worried about your heart you can always see your doctor.
