Do i have downs syndrome?(not a joke, an intelligent question)?
There are many people in the world who have a simian crease on one or both of their hands. A “syndrome” is a combination of many things together. Not just one symptom. Although it is possible that you could have a rarer form of Down syndrome called mosaic Down syndrome that often goes undetected, it is unlikely that you have this. You would probably have a lot more symptoms such as speech delays or some learning delays or some health problems that are more than just regular teenage sicknesses. Please remember that people with Down syndrome are very intelligent. They may just talk funny, but that doesn’t mean that they are dumb. It just means that they have trouble getting their words out. People with mosaic Down syndrome sometimes do not have the same speech problems as someone with Down syndrome, and they usually don’t have the physical characteristics (what they look like) as someone with Down syndrome.
