Do I have any recourse on being sold an Extended Dealership Warranty without my knowledge?

Your question is misleading. Neither Hyundai or the dealership have screwed you. You screwed yourself by not understanding or not reading the terms of the warranty. No matter how vague the sales person was with details about the warranty, you still could have realized what it actually was. Hyundai is not responsible for the actions of their dealers as the dealerships are independent franchises. Pretty much all dealers sell extended warranties, but are usually the specific brands products. Consumer negligence is an outrage to me…heck, that’s pretty much the reason for all of the current economic woes we have today. Just so you’re aware, Hyundai is a SOUTH KOREAN company. They have no affiliation with North Korea, communism, nuclear energy or weapons, and etc. And Kelly, a couple of Hyundai models are built in the U.S.
