Do i have a chance of becoming a dancer?
I’m sorry to say this, but I think you may have started too late to become a professional ballet dancer. You sound like it is possible for you to become some kind of dancer, maybe, but professional ballet is an unforgiving sport. I apologize again, but I would recommend you to change to another type of dancing where age is not as important. You are seventeen. Maybe you have been lucky and missed the trauma that happens when you undergo puberty and try to dance at the same time; maybe you started after you finished developing and therefore had an advantage. In this respect, you have been blessed. You have also been blessed by having long arms and legs, since the proportions of your body are essential to appearing graceful in ballet. However, think again. What kind of ballet school do you go to? How often do you go there? Have you taken any type of internationally-known examination or gone to any competitions?
