Do I allocate time spent on clincal teaching to teaching or clinical activity?
• If a clinical session includes both a teaching and service provision, then the allocation should be done by using the principle of primary purpose – if the primary purpose of the session is to provide patient care, even if students are present, then the session should be allocated to Clinical activity.
