Do I absolutely need to carry out a modification adjustment after each upgrade or Support Package import?
Due to the potential loss of data, it is absolutely necessary that you adjust Dictionary objects in the transaction SPDD. Adjusting Repository objects in the transaction SPAU is not required immediately, but you should do it as soon as possible. Objects to be adjusted should no longer appear in the transaction SPAU during the import of the next Support Package or during the next upgrade.
