Hyland’s Teething Tablets and Teething Gel contain a very small dose of caffeine well below the dose necessary to cause nervous stimulation. The caffeine comes from an extract of unroasted coffee beans, Coffea Cruda 3X HPUS. Coffee beans contain between 1% and 2% caffeine. The caffeine dose in Hyland’s Tablets does not exceed 0.0013 mg per tablet. A cup of coffee contains about 100mg of caffeine, so you would need to take about 75,000 Hyland’s Teething Tablets to get as much caffeine as in one cup of coffee.
