Do Hüper Optik® films incorporate any safety features?
Our film provides anti-shattering properties but it is different from security films purely made for safety purposes. In the event of the glass being shattered or broken, especially during bad weather or upon sudden impact, our film holds the glass pieces together until the affected panes can be replaced. This minimises the chances of occupants getting hurt by broken glass pieces, a safety hazard that can be prevented by installing Hüper Optik films. Hüper Optik® films are non-hazardous in nature due to the high grade of polyester used. They do not easily ignite below 500°C and do not encourage flame spread. Also, there are no toxic emissions that could pose a danger to occupants.
