Do humans have any negative effects on Desert Biomes? Please explain THANKS?
Yes. Like many ecosystems, deserts have hidden organisms that, when humans invade, are destroyed. Beside the obvious degradation of the natural environment caused by humans re-routing water and constructing roads or buildings as well as any form of pollution, there are bacteria and other organisms that live in and under the sand. When we walk through such ecosystems, we injure the system. That is the reason visitors to parks are admonished to STAY ON THE PATH so as to minimize any damage.
