Do Hotels around the world employ lifeguards near swimming pool for safety of their customers?
Well I know that the Waterpark of America in Bloomington, MN has lifeguards. I suspect that a majority of hotels don’t hire lifeguards because they don’t need them, and from a business standpoint, they aren’t cost effective. They assume that if someone is walking by or sitting by the pool that they will make the effort to save their fellow man. Waterpark hotels hire their own lifeguards, as do the hotels with their own private beach, other wise they don’t need them.
