Do holidays interfer with mail delivery time?

0

not for priority mail so much except for the simple fact it won’t be delivered if you send it 2 days before a holiday, as that holiday would have been the day it normally would have been received, but if you send it the day before a holiday, it will 99% chance still arrive the 2nd day after you send it even with the holiday being the 1st day, but for 1st class & especially parcel, yes, it will effect them, as that is not considered a business day. Mail still “moves” in the delivery chain, but it isn’t delivered, and there are less employees working at the post office on those days, but they still “move” all the overnight & priority as they normally would, and most all of the 1st class, the parcel mail basically will sit an extra day.
